Further information and guidance

Governors recognise that the admission process is a complicated one and can be a very anxious time for parents. If at any stage during the process a parent has any queries about the arrangements, they are welcome to telephone the school for further information or guidance.

Parents may also request that an appointment be made with the Clerk to Governors and a representative governor to discuss and seek clarification of any aspect of the application or appeal process.

Parents are reminded that when the allocation letters go out on 1 March 2008 for children seeking admission to Year 7, it is the practice of the Governing Body to run surgeries the following week enabling parents whose application has not been successful to come in and discuss their situation with the Clerk to Governors and a member of the Governors’ Admissions Committee.

If parents want to attend a surgery they are asked to telephone the school to make an appointment.
