How to Apply

Waddesdon Church of England School is a heavily oversubscribed school that is currently full in every year group, with all year groups currently operating above their published admission levels. Additionally there are waiting lists for every year group.

Waddesdon School is an academy, having previously been a voluntary aided Church of England school. This means that, unlike community schools, decisions about admission continue to rest with the Governing Body (now the Governing Body of the Academy Trust) who follow their published rules. Nevertheless Governors are required by law to operate within the coordinated admission arrangements of the Local Authority (Bucks County Council) for entry into Year 7. Applications for other year groups come directly to the school.

If parents are unclear in which catchment area your home address falls, please contact the Admissions and Transport team at Bucks County Council.  Parents can visit their website www.buckscc.gov.uk/admissions or alternatively they can speak directly to an Admissions specialist by calling 01296 395000 and selecting option 3.

In-Year Applications

 Parents seeking a place for their child after the normal admission day in September of each year should initially contact the school to ask for more information about the availability of places.

Right of Appeal

Parents wishing to appeal against any decision to refuse a place should request an appeal form direct from the school.
