Waddesdon Church of England was one of 3 schools which took part in the Diocese of Oxford Schools visit to the Diocese of Nandyal, India, in February 2009. The Diocese of Nandyal is situated in the state of Andrha Pradesh, South India. It is a remote, very poor, rural area with most of the population living in villages scattered across a wide area. The climate is very hot and the land poor, so the people struggle to make a living.
