Outstanding Success for Waddesdon Students

Sixth Form students at Waddesdon Church of England School once again achieved outstanding success in their summer examinations.  Students achieved a 98% pass rate at A and AS Level, with 40% of grades at A or B and 67% at grades A, B and C. Headteacher Peter Norman said, “Our students and their teachers deserve our enthusiastic congratulations.  Their achievements are the result of the persistent hard work of students and teachers, and the patient support of parents and families.”

There were many outstanding individual achievements, including the following:

  • Ruth Ryalls gained grade As in A Level English, Chemistry and General Studies, a B in Physics and As in Biology and Religious Studies at AS Level
  • Emma Sewell gained grade As in A Level English, Food Technology and Health and Social Care
  • Kate Hollick gained grade As in A Level English, History and General Studies and a B in Economics, with a B in AS Level ICT
  • Jessica Birch gained grade A in A Level in Psychology and a double A grade in Health and Social Care, with a B in Science and a C in General Studies
