World Challenge Expedition to Bolivia

Llamas, alpacas, condors, towering, snow-capped peaks, sacred Inca sites, deserts, lakes and volcanoes: Bolivia has them all in great abundance! Bolivia also had 13 Waddesdon students for over 4 weeks in the summer holidays, taking part in the school’s first World Challenge expedition.

Parents and students will know that we have been carrying out surveys of their views about the school over the past few years. The results help us to bring about improvements in the service we provide. Parent Governor Election - Autumn 2011

At the close of the ballot, votes cast were as follows:

Daniel Hayes: 81

Carolyn Costello: 73

Daniel Hayes is therefore declared as the duly elected new Parent Governor and will take up his four-year appointment with immediate effect.

Record Breaking GCSE Results at Waddesdon

Once again students from Waddesdon Church of England School have excelled themselves in their GCSE examinations. An outstanding 87% of students gained 5 or more A* - C grades, setting a new school record and marking a 5% increase on last year’s results! 24.3% of all grades were A* or A, compared with 16% in 2010: another school record!
