Year 5 & 6 High 5 Netball 4th February 2010

5 schools within the Waddesdon family attended a very competitive high 5 netball festival.

Results are as follows:

  • 5th Oakley
  • 4th Long Crendon
  • 3rd Whitchurch
  • 2nd Quainton
  • 1st Brill

Brill and Quainton now go through to the partnership finals in June at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

Quick Sticks Hockey

25th February 2010 saw the arrival of the 1st ever quick sticks hockey festival at Waddesdon C of E school. 6 schools took part. Well done to Marsh Gibbon who came 1st closely followed by Quainton. The rest of the results are as follows: 3rd Waddesdon 4th Whitchurch 5th Brill 6th Oakley. The top two schools go through to the partnership finals in June at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

Sports Hall Athletics 11th March 2010

8 schools participated in the annual KS1 athletics festival.

The festival is a non competitive event focusing on the pupils having fun whilst developing their agility, balance and co-ordination through a variety of athletic events.

Dance Extravaganza show

Waddesdon Village Primary School performed dances in 3 different categories at the joint Waddesdon and Royal Latin dance extravaganza show on 18th March. They are now through to the Partnership Finals at Buckingham community centre 7th May 2010. Well done.
