Once again students from Waddesdon Church of England School have excelled themselves in their GCSE examinations. An outstanding 87% of students gained 5 or more A* - C grades, setting a new school record and marking a 5% increase on last year’s results! 24.3% of all grades were A* or A, compared with 16% in 2010: another school record! Two more school records were set with 99.8% of students gaining 5 or more A*-G grades and the average points score per candidate of 43.9. 68% gained 5 or more A*-Cs including English and Mathematics and 64% including English, Maths and Science. These excellent achievements are the result of the hard work of students and their teachers and support staff over many years, supported by parents, families and the wider community. They all have my enthusiastic congratulations and my very best wishes for further success in the years to come. Once again Waddesdon students have outperformed expectations! Peter Norman,
