July - MAD about Waddesdon
To celebrate his 70th birthday, Jacob Rothschild, 4th Baron Rothschild, a well-known patron of the arts and also a trustee benefactor of Waddesdon Manor (which is owned by the National Trust) announced a major event on the first weekend of July at the Manor involving professional and schools contributions of music, dance, drama and art. We co-ordinated and set up a dual art exhibition of schools artwork, provided live music, a fashion show, dance and drama groups and technical support.
June - Waddesdon CE School Art Exhibition
Every Waddesdon art student at exam level is allocated individual exhibition space for their work in school during the exhibition week. Family and friends are invited to a private view. Our primary partner schools are also invited to bring students to visit during the day, gaining a useful insight into the next stage of art education.

Friars Square Shopping Centre, Aylesbury was the public venue for Waddesdon and partner schools students to exhibit a selection of artwork on the theme of 'Families'.

May - Catwalk Fashion Show in Friars Square Shopping Centre, Aylesbury
An annual event by kind permission of the Shopping Centre management that gives textiles students the opportunity to show off their exam and course work creations to public acclaim and provides a chance for music technology students to put theory into practice.
February - Little Oaks Playgroup
As part of their Arts College role, two members of staff have produced and supervised projects for these pre-schoolers, which culminate in a festival and exhibition of artworks. The projects have appropriate emphasis and outcomes supporting National Curriculum education.
February - QuarreTiles
A very successful community project in Aylesbury bringing together various Quarrendon based groups to work with our ceramic and glass artist and Arts College teacher Sarah Davis. Participants made individual tiles for mounting internally and externally at the Quarrendon Community Centre. These were glazed and fired using Arts College and school resources and equipment.
