Year 13 Leaver Destinations 2017
We are delighted that 96% of our Year 13 leavers achieved their planned destination. You can see below their many exciting destinations, at university, on an apprenticeship or traineeship, a Gap Year or into employment.
67% of our students were accepted into university, with 88% achieving their first choice of university and course. With the rise in university tuition fees, an increasing number of students are opting for the apprenticeship, traineeship or employment routes, and were successful in their applications to companies like Nielsen, BAE Systems, Ted Baker, Hartwell House, Ralph Lauren, and Abbey Precision Engineering.
A growing number of students are also taking Gap Years, with students volunteering around the globe, including Brazil, Israel and Thailand. Some are working and travelling, while others are gaining valuable work experience and internships.
We wish all our Year 13 leavers a successful and happy future.
