Year 13 Leaver Destinations 2016
We are delighted that so many of our Year 13 leavers achieved their planned destination. You can see below their many exciting destinations, at university, on an apprenticeship or traineeship, a Gap Year or into employment.
68% of our students were accepted into university, with 94% achieving their first choice of university and course. With the rise in university tuition fees, an increasing number of students are opting for the apprenticeship, traineeship or employment routes, and were successful in their applications to companies like John Lewis, BMW and M&S, and to organisations like the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. At Waddesdon, we also have four former students employed in our Enrichment and IT departments.
A growing number of students are also taking Gap Years, with one student volunteering as a Maths teacher with Project Trust in Africa, some volunteering in Australia, and others working in Bicester Village to then travel around South East Asia.
We wish all our Year 13 leavers a successful and happy future!Sixth Form Destinations 2016
