Our daily routines and educational practice are rooted in the twin values of Dignity and Respect.
Our school headteacher, Matthew Abbott, would like to welcome all current and prospective students and parents to Waddesdon School.
“We believe that the purpose of education is to enable all people to flourish individually and collectively so that they can live a fulfilling life. As a community, we strive to achieve these aims, believing genuinely and unequivocally in the capacity and potential of every person.
Our ethos is rooted and grounded in the Christian values of love, compassion, kindness and intentional inclusion which foster dignity and respect for all. We want students to know that they are safe, and seen, at Waddesdon School. We uphold these same values for our staff. Being part of the Waddesdon family should enrich people’s lives’.
Our school magazine, the Waddesdon Voice, is published termly. It showcases our students’ achievements and their contributions to the school community and beyond.
Year 11 students and their families are warmly invited to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 27th November.
There will be a Subject Fair from 6pm, followed by a Presentation at 7pm.
You will also have the opportunity to explore our brand new Sixth Form Building. You do not need to book.
Our new prospectus will be available here from Open Evening onwards: https://www.waddesdonschool.com/joining-our-sixth-form/
We look forward to seeing you there!
Ample parking will be available thanks to our close partnership with Waddesdon Manor.
The main Waddesdon Manor Gate on Silk Street will be open for you, which is just off the A41, near the Five Arrows Hotel. After you go through the gate, turn left to go into their main visitors' car park (satnav postcode: HP18 0JH). Drive past the Visitors' Pavillion on your right through the main car park, and at the end of the main car park, turn left into the overspill car park. Students will be in the overspill car park entrance to point you in the right direction. There will be a lit path onto Waddesdon Greenway to walk around to the school which will take a few minutes. Do leave an additional 10 minutes journey time to get to school in good time.
